Milestones – Celebrating the 5th and 20th Anniversaries of HGMC and Nova Voce

This March, come warm up from the winter cold and join HGMC and Nova Voce as they present a joint concert “Milestones – Celebrating 20 years of Nova Voce and 5 years of HGMC”. 

This ‘Best of’ performance marks the start of exciting new chapters for both choruses, each of which will perform audience favourites from past concerts. 

The two choirs will join together for a grand finale, including a newly commissioned piece by Nova Voce’s Director Emeritus,Terry Hurrell.

It’s time for the Halifax Gay Men’s Chorus’ annual holiday concert series, Don We Now Our Gay Apparel!!! Grab your friends and wish them a Merry Christmas, Darling as you come for a ride down Holiday Road with HGMC! Join us in singing hallelujah to welcome the longest night as we present: Once Upon a December!

Once Upon a December features an array of colourful new (and old) holiday favourites dressed up in a choral fashion, just in time for the holidays. This year’s concert series includes three evening performances on December 7th, 8th and 9th at 7:30 PM  (with doors opening at 6:30 pm)  and a special matinee on Saturday, Dec 9th at 2:00pm (doors opening at 1:15pm) 

All performances will be at St. Andrew’s United Church, 6036 Coburg Rd, Halifax, NS. 

The matinee will feature a shortened set-list from HGMC. We are also excited to welcome the Newcomer Choir Association of Canada as a special guest performer at this afternoon concert!

Tickets for the evening performances are $60.00 for Patrons (Patrons will receive a $30 charitable receipt and will have assigned seating); $30.00 General Admission; and $20.00 for Students, Seniors, Under-waged. 

Tickets for the matinee are $15.
