The Halifax Gay Men’s Chorus is seeking an Assistant Conductor for our 2026–2027 season.
As a vibrant and growing chorus of over 80 members, HGMC is committed to musical excellence, creating a safe and supportive social environment, and being an ambassador for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Halifax and across Nova Scotia. Reporting to the Artistic Director, our Assistant Conductor plays an important role in shaping our sound, supporting our singers, and contributing to the artistic vision of the chorus.
This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging or established choral leader who is passionate about collaborative music-making and inclusive community building.
